Baz Luhrmann brought you his retelling of Romeo + Juliet and the tale of Moulin Rouge. Now he returns with “The Great Gatsby” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire. DiCaprio plays the title character, who’s throwing lavish parties at his Long Island mansion in the hopes they’ll reunite him with his lost love Daisy. It turns out his new neighbor, Nick Carraway is cousins with Daisy. But Daisy also happens to be married. And there may be more to Gatsby than meets the eye as well.
Brent and I talked with Bob Waliszewski from Plugged In to get his take on the film and whether or not it’s something that’s safe for your family.
