When you hurt someone close to you, how far will you go to fix the situation? That’s the challenge faced by Anna in Disney’s latest animated film “Frozen” (rated PG).  Anna and her sister Elsa live in the kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa has a gift, or maybe it’s a curse, to freeze whatever she touches.  And when Elsa is crowned the new queen of the kingdom, Anna accidentally removes Elsa’s glove, causing the entire kingdom to become frozen.  Elsa flees, and Anna realizes she needs to follow her and make things right.

Bob says while there is a little bathroom humor, the movie is strong in it’s themes of love between two sisters, and particularly it’s challenge to sacrificial love. Plus it points out that it’s important to show care for those different from us, even if those differences can seem scary. There’s a lot to like in Frozen, and Bob says it gets 4 out of 5 stars in his book.
