This weekend sees the release of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1”, the penultimate film in the Hunger Games series.  This time, there are no games as Katniss becomes a leader in a revolution, working to free the oppressed from their governmental oppressors.

Bob says this movie definitely has some good messages about courage, about fighting for the weak and defending them. Friendship is prized as well. On the downside, there is some violence, but nothing too graphic.  So Bob gave it a 3.5 out of 5 for family friendliness.  You can get a bigger look at the whole movie and it’s content on the Plugged In website.
