In 2008, we faced the greatest natural disaster in our community’s history. The losses generated by the of Flood of ’08 are still being felt by many.
This week, we’ll do it all over again. With the river at flood stage many evacuate not knowing for sure what to expect.
It’s times like these when we are grateful to have a community that delights in giving and service. When disasters strike, it’s time for the Body of Christ to hand out a cool drink of water to a brother in need.
