I appreciate that you take a moment every month to read about some of the things going on behind the scenes here at Life 101.9.  But the news this time is not good…our Office Coordinator Deb Pugh is battling cancer.  Last month, Deb underwent a number of tests, and it was determined that the cancer she successfully fought several years ago has returned.  They started treatment immediately, which means that Deb will be out of the office for the next few months.

We are thankful for her expert medical care, and we are thankful that we can bring this to God in prayer.  Would you join us in praying that Deb will experience complete healing?  It will be a difficult battle.  As you know if you or a loved one has gone through treatment for cancer, it’s a challenge both physically and emotionally.  So your prayers for her and her family will be much appreciated.

In the meantime, we are doing our best to get along here without her.  I know many who call and visit here at the station appreciate her cheerful greeting.  And she handles so many different aspects of life at the station that we’re still finding tasks that she does for us that we didn’t even realize!  So the sooner she recovers and returns to us, the better!

Thanks for your prayers on her behalf.

Also, this month is the final month in our financial year, and we haven’t yet met our donation goal.  If you’ve never given to the station before, or if it’s been awhile since your last gift, would you consider giving a donation of any size?  You can mail a check, or give here.

Thanks for listening to Life 101.9!

Yours in Christ,
Doug Smith
Station Manager
