For children ages 11 - 14 Designed to give insight into theatrical process and develop on-stage skills, this class will take students through the artistic process of a production from casting to the sharing performance for friends and family. This class will end with a performance.

20th Annual Fall Harvest Festival

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

This year’s theme is Grandma and Grandpa’s garden. Festival highlights include craft and market vendors, a prairie village, scarecrow auction, and a car show. Children’s activities include Hobbit themed games, a petting zoo, and face painters. Children 13 and under are free. Arboretum members are also able to attend the event for free but must show their membership or Hawkeye College ID card at the admissions gate. Public parking for the event will be at Hawkeye Community College with a free tram available to bring attendees over to the Arboretum. Handicapped parking is available at the Arboretum.
