Brilliant theatrical tour-de-force, New York actor Dr. Michael Mauldin undergoes a transformation to achieve an uncanny likeness to the 70-year-old "Grand Old Man of American Letters," Mark Twain. In his customary white suit and ever-present cigar, Twain takes us through a fascinating panoply of uproarious comedy, biting social satire, and often dark commentary of the human condition.

Newhall IA Spring Fling 2019

The Central Lutheran School Parent Teacher League (PTL) in Newhall will be holding its biennial SPRING FLING on Saturday April 6th, 2019. The money raised through this event will be largely used for curriculum needs, classroom needs, and student enrichment activities beyond the school budget. All student benefit from the proceeds raised at this fun and entertaining event. At this event there will be a lot kid activities and fun such as; face painting, photo booth, carnival style games with the purchase of tickets. Raffles, silent, live, & paddle auction will take place for new items, handcrafted & donated items. With an international reputation as one of the most popular brass ensembles today, Canadian Brass has truly earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.” The varied Canadian Brass repertoire features brass standards as well as a wide-ranging library of original arrangements. These include the works of Renaissance and Baroque masters, Classical works, marches, holiday favorites, ragtime, Dixieland, Latin, jazz, big band, Broadway, and Christian music as well as popular songs and standards. With a discography of over 130 albums and an extensive world-wide touring schedule, Canadian Brass is an important pioneer in bringing brass music to mass audiences everywhere. Westward Road Concert during Worship on Sunday, April 7 at 10:00am Please join St. Paul's, St. Mark's, and Raymond UMC for this awesome concert at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 207 West Louise Street, Waterloo Westward Road is an exciting and dynamic family trio from Indianapolis, IN. They have been singing together as Westward Road since 2014 and absolutely love worshiping and spreading the love of God. Westward Road has a style all their own. Their new take on gospel music along with their smooth family harmonies will have audiences of all ages falling in love with this fun and energetic trio. There will be no charge for this concert, but we will be asking for a "Love Offering" to compensate this group for their expenses and to help with their ministry.
