It’s Not Over Yet Lyrics

They are inside your head
You got a voice that says
You won’t get past this one
You won’t win your freedom

It’s like a constant war
And you wanna settle that score
But you’re bruised and beaten
And you feel defeated

This goes out to the heaviest hearts

Oh, to everyone who’s hit their limit
It’s not over yet, it’s not over yet
And even when you think you’re finished
It’s not over yet, it’s not over yet
Keep on fighting
Out of the dark, into the light, it’s not over
Hope is rising
Never give in, never give up, it’s not over
Yet, whoa, yet, whoa

Game, set, match
Time to put it in your past
Feel the winter leaving
It’s redemption season
Long live the young at heart
Cheers to a brand new start
We’re revived and breathing
To live a life of freedom

Until the kingdom comes
We’ll run till the race is won
Don’t you ever give up
No, no never give up
Until the kingdom comes
We’ll run till the race is won
Don’t you ever give up
We will never give up

  • Kay Kiler says:

My husband is fighting cancer and tomorrow is another scan to see how the fight is going – This song came on the radio when I was driving to work this morning and gave me so much HOPE – so thank you

  • Aracely says:

I love it because when I feel like I have not won the victory this song comes on and that when God is telling me that I have won <3

  • Daniel Canfield says:

Eleven years ago on Dec. 8 I was diagnosed with a disease called adrenoleukodystrophy or ALD for short. I had a bone marrow transplant on Jan 17, 2005. I only had a 40% chance of living. Mostly when people with ALD survive a transplant they either have a chance to go on with life like nothing really happened or they give up. I have some disabilities. The doctors have said you would probably not continue to make progress or get better beyond 5 years post transplant. They were wrong. At 11 years out I’m still making progress and getting better. Now I’m getting ready for a big change, out of high school and into the adult world. I listen to life 101.9 and in no time I hear “It’s not over yet.” When I hear it, it makes me think of everyone who went through transplant and all the disabilities. That God is telling us, even if we hit our limits, it doesn’t mean we are finished with our lives. God has made plans for us to give us a hope and a future. It’s not over yet!

  • Jerry Willis says:

My wife is battling stage 4 cancer and today a Dr. told her she was going to die and that is a fact , my wife told him she was healed in Jesus, his reply was you can believe that if you want but the fact are the facts . Coming back to the hospital I heard your song it’s not over yet, and it’s not. No don’t you ever give up no no don’t it’s not over yet. I’m praying that the Lord use this time not only to heal my wife but to show him it’s not over yet and win him for the Lord. In the name of Jesus
