School days, school days, dear old Golden Rule days…

The Golden Rule. Hmmmm. Where did that idea come from and what does it mean?

Turns out the Golden Rule is in the Bible. It’s part of what has become known as the “Sermon on the Mount” chronicled in the NT gospels of Matthew and Luke.

The lesson of the Golden Rule is self-explanatory. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Do this and things generally work better. ‘Nuff said. Seems like a good idea to me and to a lot of other people I might add.

Here’s to hoping that your “back to school season” is going well and that you are settling in as the kids learn that the Golden Rule is always a good idea.

And speaking of school days, our staff is reminded that school days also mean that Fall Share is coming soon. We’re now hard at work making preparation for our time together Sep 24-27th. It’s during this week that many of us will pledge our support for a ministry that shares music filled with messages of hope; messages of God’s love.

So here we plunge. Head long into Share month. We know your September is likely to be busy. Thanks in advance for taking us with you wherever you go and also for taking time to renew your partnership.

With a grateful heart.

Tim

Would you please pray that my sons return to the Lord? They were raised in church, but none of them go and 2 of them don’t believe.
Would you also please pray for my health? I’m still trying to work part time but sleeping more hours in the day than I’m awake. It’s really depressing me and I have no energy for anything.
    Thank you very much.
