“Wouldn’t it be great if life was always like this?”

That’s what I thought to myself while I enjoyed the recent Newsboys United concert at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids.  My daughter Anna and I attended the concert along with many of you.  Our seats were near the back of the main floor, and gave us a great view of the stage and the crowd.  It was wonderful to see friends enjoying a great night of music as Newsboys United played many of our favorites, like “He Reigns” and “God’s Not Dead.”  It was a celebration!

Unfortunately, life isn’t always made up of moments like we enjoyed together last month.  Day to day life can be busy, stressful and tiring…perhaps all at the same time!  That’s one of the reasons I’m so grateful for the uplifting music on Life 101.9.  During the challenging seasons we all face, being reminded that God is in control can make all the difference.  Pamela wrote to us recently, and said:

“I discovered Life 101.9 last fall after my daughter died unexpectedly. I feel that God led me to your station and has brought me during the long year of sorrow, through your music, to a place of joy. I sang and cried with grief though many songs, I sang and praised the Lord for his mercy through many songs, I sang and cried tears of joy that we are so loved by God, that we are his children, that we are forgiven. I’m so grateful that Life 101.9 is a part of my life.”

Life 101.9 is available to bring encouragement to friends like Pamela each day because of the generous support of friends like you.  Our Spring Share fundraiser will be here soon, but you don’t have to wait to get involved.  When you make your best gift or pledge to keep Life 101.9 strong before March 24th, you will be entered to win tickets to see Lauren Daigle at Madison Square Garden in New York City!  The prize package also includes, airfare, hotel and spending money.

Make your gift now!

We are incredibly grateful for the partnership we have with you to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their faith.  Through the big moments and the small moments in life, it is our hope and prayer that God uses Life 101.9 to draw you closer to Him.

In Christ,

Matt Deane
