I love the innocence of a child, especially their honesty.

You may have heard brief recitations of Scripture performed by kids of all ages and sponsored by Life 101.9 Impact Partners, I get to go out into our community and record these young people. Sometimes, the event really puts a smile on my face by what they say and what they share. On this particular day, I happened to leave the digital recorder running after we captured a good recording and what happened next was so precious, I just had to share it. Thanks to Kasey and Erin Lyons, owners of KC PowerSports and Life 101.9 Impact Partners for the privilege of allowing me to get to know your girls and little guy James.

Did I mention that I love my job? 🙂

Jane Lyons and her sister Joy are two of our participants. You can see them here in the picture. When I recorded Jane reciting James 1:19, she, Joy and I had a little conversation. Unfortunately, I shut off my digital recorder before she finished but I think you’ll get the gist of it.

Enjoy!

Jane Lyons James 1 19

Everyone does “bad things sometimes” but not Jesus. Hmmm. Sounds like good doctrine to me Jane. You’ve discovered the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Thanks for sharing your heart with us.

Something to think about.

Tim, Thank you for sharing some of the wonderful things going on because of the children sharing scripture! We are so blessed to hear God’s Word, especially when it’s little ones sharing it! God’s Words do not come back void. He has a plan!😍
