The Pastor Appreciation Wall

David is so good at explaining things that can be hard to read and hard to understand. He checks in with everyone every time he sees them and it incredibly supportive along with his wife Becky! When struggling with pregnancy loss and going through procedures to help have a baby I felt I was abandoned or being punished. I started going to Grandview church and talking to David and Becky who helped me see that wasn’t the case. They help my husband and I read the word of God and how to pray to God while we were in the trenches. Now that we are expecting to give birth in a few weeks after 4 long years they have never left us. Still encouraging us and checking in often for anything we need.

Pastor Jason always makes sure the message is clear. Always so passionate about spreading the word, and he is exceptional at spreading the word of God!

Pastor Chan is always encouraging for the kids and is generally a fun pastor! As he is Korean-American, he loves to share some of his favorite things about his culture and Korea, and is always wanting us to come to enjoy some Korean Spicy-Ramen. I hope he sticks around!

He teaches and preaches the BIBLE!!! No apology, only convicting Biblical teaching! It is so refreshing to hear messages that do not cater to the world and what the world wants and allows. Only God’s word! To top it off, he planted CPC in his home town. He came back home to gather souls for Jesus, and is making a difference for Christ!

Pastor Daniel Schloss is caring and always willing to take part in all church related activities. He listens with an open heart no matter the struggles of any given person who crosses his path. He is the kind of man who makes you feel like part of a family not just a congregation. I am thankful for his service to God and to our country.

Our pastor is always looking to challenge our members whether it’s through a gospel message or an actual challenge to collect goods for a local mission, from Kleenex to soup! He’s doesn’t hesitate to try to push us out of our comfort zone, but he’s also willing to hear our doubts and questions with an open mind. He’s connected to all parts of our church from our littles to our outreach for members who can’t physically be with us in church to small groups in his own kitchen! We are very blessed to have Isaiah leading our church into the future!

Although every Pastor at Crosspoint has been a complete blessing to our lives and those that enter those front doors, pastor Fisher goes out of his way to connect on a deeper level and truly drives that connectedness to the church that is so very needed to deepen your faith. After joining the church right before Covid, I was encouraged to audition for the worship team and just expected it to be something I did every few weeks. I never expected that it would lead to the formation of the friendships that my husband and I have grown to Appreciate and rely on. Pastor Fisher has such a fun and inviting personality and I’m so proud of him for pushing past his comfort level to do God’s work and to bring people closer not only to Jesus, but to each other and to the church. The community that he fosters is something I will forever be grateful for.

Pastor wants to be involved in everything done at the church, instigating new programs! Having a weekly message for our children and visiting the shut-ins! She started a Tell your story, young people bible study and at the same time serves in the kitchen when we are short of help! Rebecca is helping with our after school program and when help is needed for Sunday school she is there! She has 22 confirmation students and twin boys 1 1/2 years old with her husband! She is the BEST ever!!!!

Rodney Hedge has been with Jordan Creek Church – Solon since the summer of 2023. We are a fast-growing church with a lot of young families and Rodney has implemented some wonderful ideas for our church in the time that he has been there. Also, I experienced a personal loss three weeks ago, and Rodney and his wife have been there for me and my family during this time; he has prayed for us on a Sunday morning, and he has made himself available for us if and when we need it. He brings great energy to our church family and I am super appreciative of him, as I know the rest of our church family is as well. He is going to do great things for our church going forward!
