Come bring your 4 legged canine friend and have a fun time, while walking for a cause. We are walking to help find a cure for all types of dystonia–a rare neurological muscle movement disorder that affects any person at any age with the uncontrollable twisting, pulling, spasming of 1 muscle or more in the body. We will take a walk around Thomas Park, then return for Canine Demonstrations. Pawsitively Paws Academy will be there demonstrating flyball and agility, while Iowa’s Task Force One Search and Rescue team will be demonstrating and we will have demonstrations by Marie Appell with Nosework/Scentwork and Rally-O.

Besides demonstrations, we will have a DJ, Photographer, vendors, food, raffle and Silent Auction Table, along with a Super Hero dog themed Dog Costume Contest! Categories for the costume contest includes: Best Group of 2 or more dogs, Best Dog/Owner Combination and Best Super Hero themed costume!

People who pre-register by August 7 is guaranteed a t-shirt and a goodie bag, however, those you choose to pre-register or register the day of the event will not be guaranteed a goodie bag or t-shirt.
