Cedar Rapids Nativity Celebration

9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Join us to celebrate the 20th year of the Cedar Rapids Nativity Celebration December 6-7. Community members bring their nativity sets created by artists from around the world to the exhibit. Local choirs and instrumental groups perform Christmas music and provide a wonderful atmosphere for this joyful celebration. Let us come together as friends and neighbors as we each remember the reason for the Christmas Season - God's Gift to the world, His Son, Jesus Christ. This event is family-friendly and free. Watch Mr. Scrooge have a change of heart from stone to gold as he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas. All the joy, sentiment, and meaning are here, without being too scary for young audiences.

Gloria: A Christmas Celebration

Join us for an evening filled with classical music, contemporary songs and beloved hymns, performed by various musical groups from our church. Featuring our church choirs, praise and worship bands, bell choirs and small groups! A reception will follow. Free will donations, canned goods and hygiene items will be collected in support of Mission of Hope and The Churches of Marion Food Pantry.
