Strictly Business 2023

The public is invited to attend Strictly Business, the annual Grow Cedar Valley business expo, on Tuesday, October 3 at Bien VenU (7400 Hudson Road in Cedar Falls) from 4-7 pm! Fifty-five Grow Cedar Valley investors will showcase their products and services in a trade show format. This free event attracts 500+ business representatives. The business expo will include a seminar at 3 pm. The theme for this year’s expo is “Prospecting for Gold”. The seminar will focus on recruiting and retaining employees. The Academy Players

For Creative Kids in 6th-9th Grades BHCT is focusing its mission on training and technique to encompass theatrical experiences that support individual growth, collaborative play, and artistic exploration. We focus our sessions on technique as well as individual development. The Academy is intended as a training program for students who are interested in advancing their skills. Interested students MUST audition to become an Academy Player by preparing an audition of a one minute memorized piece. That piece may be a monologue (published or self-written), a poem, a commercial, etc. It simply must be prepared and memorized. Please no vocal music auditions. 17th Annual Pink Ribbon Run

8:00 AM - 10:30 PM

Join the 17th Annual Pink Ribbon Run by running, walking or participating virtually! The race is October 7th in downtown Cedar Falls. All registration and donation funds go to the Beyond Pink TEAM to be distributed to women living with breast cancer. Pay just $30 and be guaranteed a T-shirt if you register by Sept. 22! Price goes up $5 afterward but registration remains open until race day.

Urbana's Farmers Market

Saturdays 9:00am to 11:00am at the American Legion Pavilion – 204 W. Wood St. Come get it Fresh at the Market. We expect to have rhubarb, lettuce, radishes, turnips, onion, and other vegetables, eggs, baked goods, and crafts. Sticker Swap - Marion

We will be sending Jeremy and all of the collected stickers to the kids in November.
